Two Sleepy Hollow swim/tennis clubs with distinct personalities

Our two Sleepy Hollow Road swim/tennis clubs are good neighbors with distinct personalities. Both have seasons from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Both offer adult and children's tennis, swim lessons, private and group tennis lessons, swim teams, diving teams and tennis teams. They differ in facilities and cost.

Membership: 435 equity members (and some leases)
Facilities: 2 large pools (one is 25-Meter), baby-toddler pool, 9 tennis courts, tennis backboard, 2 picnic gazebos, barbecues, Sports Court (basketball, 4-square, etc.) regulation sand volleyball court, Tennis Pro Shop)
Swimming: Red Cross Swimming Instruction (Swim Team is Division 5 of NVSL (Coach Doug Burns)* ; Dive Team is Division 4 (Coach Anita O'Quinn)* ; (Cost included in membership fee. Suits and other gear are extra)
Tennis: Adult and children's tennis teams (Children's cost included) (Coach David LeMair); Private lessons (fee-based)
Social Events: Wine & Cheese Party, Family Fun Day, Lobster Party, July Adult Party, various children's activities throughout the summer.
Food: Full-service snack bar with grill
Other: Approximately 50 Cabanas - private changing areas with showers availabe for season rental to equity members. Lockers.

Equity Membership (12 months) One-time (initiation) fee: $600
Application fee: $25
Membership for 1st year: $237.50
All other years' annual dues: $475
(Child Care provider included in this cost)
Equity members can use tennis courts and volleyball and Sports Court year around.
Lease Membership (summer only) $550
Additional fee for child care provider $50
*The lower the number of the Division, the more competitive the competition.

Hours: Noon - 9 p..m.; Sundays - 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Baby Pool opens at 10 a.m.
Facilities: 25-Meter pool with diving well, kiddie pool, 6 tennis courts, basketball court, 4-Square and shuffle board courts, volleyball court on sand, barbecue grills and shaded picnic tables, awning area around pool deck, large umbrellas, new covered pavillion this year.
Swimming: Red Cross Swim Instruction; Swim Team is in Division 6 Northern Virginia Swim League.*(Coach David Penland); Dive Team is in Division 2* (Coach Laura Wilson); Swim Team and Dive Team ($40 per season - includes T shirt and trophy)
Tennis: Adult Tennis Teams (no cost); Private Lessons (children and adults); Children's Tennis Team - $40 per season, includes T-shirt and trophy (Coach, Nick Meeker)
Social Events: Opening Day, Summer Halloween, 4th of July, Wine & Cheese Party, Crab Feast, Float Nights on Thursdays.
Food: Snack Bar and Soda Machine
Other: Lockers available; Schedule is set to allow children to participate in all three teams: tennis, swimming and diving.

Annual fee: $275 for the summer plus $25 per family member (ages 3-60)
Child care providers considered family member
Maximum family annual fee: $435.
Rentals available $400 for a couple and $450 for a family.
