Clubs & Groups

Barcrofters is a social club of women in Lake Barcroft. It was originally formed to continue friendships started in the couples-oriented Newcomers' Club. Barcrofters hold ten events a year, either themed luncheons or evening parties scheduled so that husbands and career women can participate. A major annual event is a weekend barge party in June.

Each member is asked to cook or to host a luncheon or party once a year. Volunteers also prepare mailings and do phoning. Anyone interested in joining should contact Roxanna Douglas (703-256-4855). Annual dues are just $9.00.
