MUSIC FOR FUN!
This 4-week music program is for young and upcoming musicians in the neighborhood!
It includes 8 one-hour sessions of playing and performing, listening, singing, and music theory instruction.
This program is designed to benefit children at the beginning and intermediate levels who would like to learn more about the ins and outs of how music is put together.
It is also structured to be fun- we'll play various instruments, sing in 4-part harmony, have class outside, and enjoy music together.
This experience will be an important supplement to your child's musical development, and will further advance his or her musical understanding and performance level.
Schedule: All sessions take place from 4:30pm - 5:30pm.
Tuesday, 7/1; Friday, 7/4; Tuesday, 7/8; Tuesday, 7/15; Friday, 7/18; Tuesday, 7/22; Friday, 7/25; Tuesday, 7/29

About me: I am a junior piano performance student at George Mason University, and I teach piano privately in both Falls Church and Fairfax.

Artist Looking for Small Studio Space to Rent
I am an artist looking to rent a small space (about 200 sf) in which to paint. I currently rent a studio at the Arlington Arts Center, but am looking for something closer to our condo (we live quite close to Lake Barcroft) and a bit quieter. A room above a garage would be ideal. I work full-time during the week as a curator in Arlington’s Public Art Program and one day per week as a conservation technician at The Phillips Collection. I usually paint evenings and weekends. I have an MFA in painting and have been painting small scale (about 5” x 5”) oil paintings on wood for the last several years.
