Earth Day April 17th – It's Official!

It's official!  Earth Day will be held on Sunday, April 17th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Beach 5, due to the persistent weather predictions for rain and strong winds all day Saturday and the potential for afternoon thunderstorms.

All of our volunteers and presenters have graciously agreed to come Sunday when the weather is supposed to be warmer, dry, and hopefully sunny.  Please come and thank them for their extraordinary spirit of cooperation to make this a successful event.

Celebrate Earth Day in Lake Barcroft on Sunday, April 17th.  Please let your neighbors that may not be on Lakelink know of the rain date change.

Please Note: The early morning bird walk is still scheduled for tomorrow morning, Sat. 16th, hopefully before the onset of rain.  Meet at Nolan Stoke's home at 7:30, unless there is heavy rain.  Spring migration is well underway and Nolan reports the following amazing birds spotted from his own deck:

Bald Eagle

Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker

Phoebe

White-breasted Nuthatch

"And that’s all simultaneously, right now in the back yard.  Wow.  How cool!"

Don't miss out….
