Thurgood Marshall Fund

The Thurgood Marshall Fund was established to honor one of Lake Barcroft's most distinguished residents, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

Who is eligible to apply for a Thurgood Marshall Fund?

Scholarships are awarded each year to graduating seniors at J.E.B. Stuart High School who excel in and outside of the classroom.  Individual scholarship awards range from $3,000.00 to $6,000.00 with two to five Scholars awarded annually.  Awards are paid directly to the university or college when the student enrolls.

The Thurgood Marshall Fund is a Section 501(c)(3) organization in the Lake Barcroft Foundation. Contributions are tax deductible.
